From Spectators to Riders: Brabham Youth Week BMX AI Experience

THE BRIEF
Collaborate with ATL Events and Peet Communities to deliver an engaging, youth-focused activation for Youth Week at Honeycomb Park within Brabham Estate.
With a live BMX competition as the centrepiece of the event, the objective was to create a fun and interactive experience that captured the energy of the day while encouraging participation and social sharing. The activation needed to appeal to a younger audience, attract foot traffic, and deliver eye-catching, shareable content aligned with the action-packed BMX theme.
THE SOLUTION
ATL Events partnered with Vivid Media to deliver an Roaming AI Photo Booth Activation—transforming eventgoers into BMX riders.
Guests were greeting by a Roaming photo booth, where we captured their photo and used AI technology to reimagine them as dynamic BMX athletes—complete with bold colours, action poses, and high-impact styling inspired by the competition atmosphere.
The activation was designed to maximise engagement through:
Custom AI BMX-themed transformations
Branded overlays and templates aligned with Peet Communities
Instant digital delivery, allowing guests to share their images straight to social media
This seamless process turned everyday attendees into the stars of their own BMX moment, creating content that was both personal and highly shareable.
THE OUTCOME
The activation quickly became a popular feature of the event, drawing in a steady flow of participants throughout the day.
With the BMX competition setting the tone, guests were excited to see themselves transformed into riders—creating bold, social-ready images that stood out in feeds and encouraged organic sharing.
The experience successfully captured the spirit of Youth Week—fun, energetic, and community-driven—while providing Peet Communities with strong branded content and increased visibility both on-site and online.
